31 floors above 8th ave. and Virginia St. is a pretty great place to be during sunrise and sunset.
We drove up to Richmond and Vancouver BC for a quick day trip. If you time things correctly (leaving early/staying until late), it’s easy to enjoy a full day of good food, shops and downtown strolls without having to stay the night if you don’t want to. Given my recent indulgences, it was much better for my waistline to save a longer visit for another weekend and make this one a quickie. Vancouver is incredible, but nothing beats falling asleep in my own bed after a full day of eating and travel.
