Finally tried Kukai Ramen. Now I know what all the hype was about!

We are on a Boiling Point kick. Make sure to try the leafy green “Crown Daisy,” it’s a great hot pot addition, and extremely fibrous (nothing wrong with that!).

Sweet souvenir from Sinae’s big trip to Guatemala. I love the little baby peeking through :)

Smoked trout scrambled eggs.

Brunch at Boat Street Cafe near Belltown/Queen Anne. We loved the food, decor and relaxed ambiance; I can’t wait to go back.

Yummy plate of lentils, kale, poached egg and beets.

Fresh orange juice at Ba Bar.

Banh Cuon, their weekend special.

New wide leg cropped pants from Zara. They’re perfect for the transition from Seattle’s hot Summer to breezy Fall season. I also expect them to work well for our trip to Hong Kong and Taipei coming up (32 days away, but “who’s counting?”)

Little things.

New sandals for our trip to Taiwan.

Nothing like Ba Bar pho to cure a stay-at-home hangover. Notice I enjoyed it in a large pyrex bowl.

Camera shy hamster available for adoption at Petco in Bellevue.

My favorite childhood treat. I remember how special an occasion it was when I convinced my parents to buy me this pack of gum. Even now, we can’t help but savor each piece.

Spaghetti with sun dried tomatoes and veggies.

Oma Bap (think Korean fast food?) opened next door and we gave it a try. It wasn’t the best or most traditional Korean food I’ve had in Seattle, but its casual vibe and convenient fare can be appreciated on First Hill.

Korean pancakes were pretty good.

Ba Bar’s new breakfast includes a tasty shrimp and bacon omelet.

Detox banana split.

Catered Chipotle for lunch at work. Being able to customize exactly what I want and how much of it I want makes this the best Chipotle experience I have had.

Work Happy Hour at Brave Horse Tavern in South Lake Union.

The infamous Red Velvet Cake at Kingfish Cafe in Capitol Hill.

Their Fried Chicken Plate rivals that of Ma’Ono, but the latter might be my favorite.
