Richmond Night Market.

The Richmond Night Market runs from mid-May through mid-October, and it’s the closest thing I’ve experienced to the Night Markets of Taiwan (if not identical in certain aspects). If you have the chance to visit Richmond or Vancouver over the Summer, this event is a must-do for authentic Asian street snacks. Like the Night Markets of Taiwan, food vendors are abundant and slow sauntering is encouraged. We had a big dinner before heading over, but it was nearly effortless to muster up an appetite for some late night snacks and shopping. Be warned that if it rains, they are not shy to shut the market down. So, check the weather before you go.
