Double Happiness.

One fateful morning, we arrived at Ba Bar to find that Seattle’s only Croughnuts were available. Not only were they available, but it was the last day they would make any in a long while. Well, that’s all water under the bridge because they’re back and re-branded as “Double Happiness.” The name is both a literal and cultural reference to something that brings together two pleasures, but it’s still a little awkward to say at the counter. Regardless, they’re back and our second experience with these pastries was what we expected. Sweet, savory and oily. My taste buds don’t wake me in the middle of the night screaming for these things, but it’s nice to have them back.

Please excuse the fuzzy pictures. The lighting that day was not conducive to a cell phone photoshoot.
