Maokong Gondola.

On the same day as our visit to Taipei 101, we also took a ride on the Maokong Gondola. Once you see the pictures of the route, you’ll quickly realize why it was imperative that we do this on a day with little to no wind and clear skies. The gondola boards at the Taipei Zoo and is a quick walk from the Taipei Zoo MRT Station. Maokong was previously one of the largest tea growing areas in Taiwan, and sits on a mountain that blesses the suburb with a fantastic view of Taipei and even 101. If you ever have the chance to take the gondola up, I suggest you find a tea house where you can sit and take in the beautiful sights at your leisure.
